One of my favorite Group Fitness classes are Bollywood dance with Kruti Patel on Wednesdays. I love the songs and cardio workout. It’s one hour of fun, and very refreshing. Kruti is friendly and cheerful. My other favorite is BodyAttack on Tuesday mornings. I love the instructor, Alicia Poythress. She is energetic and knows how to create energy within all of us.

My favorite Group Fitness class is Total Body Conditioning with Kyle Blum. Every week, Kyle creates a unique workout designed to challenge your body with weights and interval training.

As a 64-year-old, I’ve been to numerous gyms. On a scale of one to ten, I certainly give an eleven to RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center at Carteret. Keep up the good work, everybody! I look forward to taking advantage of all this Center offers for many enjoyable years.

Rabia SarwarI want to thank the Center for having the Biggest Winner contest, which motivated me to stay on track. I lost 12 pounds so far, and that is an achievement for me. I noticed positive changes in my mind and body. I started working with my personal trainer at the beginning of this contest and signed up for Pilates reformer classes. Group Fitness classes are also fun. I can’t imagine doing that one-hour workout alone and enjoying it as much. I am determined to lose more weight and reach my goal weight. My nurse appointment showed I lost a considerable amount of body fat and gained muscle. I’m thrilled!

In recovering from leukemia, I didn’t need a gym. I needed a total wellness facility. I joined the Center immediately upon discovery because of all it offers. I used it to rehabilitate my body and become strong enough to follow my passion again. Today, I’m back on the basketball court, refereeing games. I chose life and, with the Center’s help, kicked my condition into remission.

My fitness journey began four years ago. I weighed 310 pounds. It was very difficult to perform daily activities. I had two knee replacements, which led to my fitness journey. I had to change my life. I was so excited for this Center to open. When it did, it was beyond my expectations. The building and equipment is awesome, and the staff is fantastic! I had no idea how to properly exercise to get results. Having a trainer and nurse on staff to help and answer questions is great. Four years after my start, I weigh 172 pounds, my waist went from 55 to 33 inches with no surgery– just hard work! The great people at RWJ Fitness & Wellness New Brunswick will guide me the rest of my life!
