Amanda Pero

Personal Trainer Amanda Pero earned her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Montclair State University, and her personal training certification through the International Sports Sciences Association. She is certified in first aid/CPR/AED through the American Red Cross.

Throughout her training sessions, Amanda Pero focuses on correct execution of each exercise to prevent injury and assure progress. She specializes in circuit training, with a mix of muscular endurance and strength training exercises to keep workouts vigorous and exciting. Amanda customizes her programs to meet the needs and abilities of the Center’s diverse membership. Her background includes successfully helping athletes through sport-performance training to enhance speed, power, and agility.

During free time, she enjoys playing soccer, exercising, spending time with family, and traveling.

Amanda Pero shares support, encouragement, and extensive knowledge with members. She instills confidence so each individual can manage his/her personal best.

I met Amanda while doing one of my usual workouts at the Center. She gave me pointers on what I could do better to further progress my workouts. Being in pain every day motivated me to get moving again and get fit. I hurt my hip by moving incorrectly. I needed help. My chiropractor got me back on my feet, but it was up to me to prevent another injury. This is where Amanda helped.
