I.S.S.A. – Certified Personal Trainer, Sports Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning
My main specialty is functional movement training, teaching clients how their body is supposed to move and working to improve overall mental strength, physical stamina, balance and core control through different, creative exercises. My secondary specialty is the oxygen advantage program. This program helps teach clients how to control their breathing through proper respiratory mechanics and how to prevent excessive oxidative stress, hence improving their over all stamina and exercise effectiveness.
No one can ever guess my height correctly on the first try. If you do, I will give you a prize!
Why did you go into Personal Training?
Both of my parents are practicing medical professionals. My father is a general family physician and my mother is a registered nurse supervisor. They taught me about anatomy and physiology since I was young. When I started to officially purse my career as a physician, my mom explained that I could use my acquired knowledge to make a difference in whatever field I choose. So, I dived into the world of sports science with the hopes of changing the way we look at western medicine. Teaching clients how to naturally improve their body’s overall functionality and helping them feel their best.
