Holly has worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years. She earned her certification as a comprehensive Level 2 instructor from Peak Pilates® and IM=X® Pilates. She also is certified as a Group Fitness instructor from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, a spinning® instructor from Mad Dogg Athletics, and kettlebell instructor from HKC Kettlebell, with certification in TRX Suspension Training.
Also, a full-time creative director, Holly knows firsthand the effects of spending your day at a desk, hunched over a computer. Your upper body starts to round forward, your shoulders tighten, your back aches, and good posture is sacrificed. Holly uses Pilates to prevent injury and bring balance to her body, whether after vigorous strength training, a long day sitting at work, or coinciding with her other favorites like obstacle-course workouts and powerlifting.
She loves Pilates for its ability to accommodate all fitness levels, from athletes to beginners. Young and senior exercisers both benefit by developing core strength, increasing flexibility and movement efficiency, and decreasing risk of injury.
